David Carradine 1936-2009

"Well sweetie, I love Mommy, but I did to Mommy what you did to Emilio. I shot Mommy. Not pretend shoot, like we were just doing. I shot her for real."

"Why? Did you want to see what would happen?"

"No, I knew what would happen to Mommy if I shot her. What I didn't know is, when I shot Mommy, what would happen to me."

"What happened?"

"I was very sad. And that was when I learned, some things, once you do, they can never be undone."

-Quentin Tarantino

"I'm just gonna stop going. I don't think I'd like another job. I've never really liked paying bills. I don't think I'm gonna do that either."

"Well, so what do you want to do?"

"I want to take you out to dinner, and then I want to go back to my apartment and watch Kung Fu. Do you ever watch Kung Fu?

(mouth drops open) "I love Kung Fu."

-Mike Judge

I never saw that much of your work, but your face, your presence, are somehow part of my soul and the soul of everyone who loves movies. Rest in peace, traveler of the endless highway.

-Andrew Rostan

P.S. I think the Superman monologue is actually more poetic, but some people very close to me would have had a fit if I put it on the blog.
