A Guest Thought From Charles Schuling Concerning "Abbey Road"
Every time I hear the end of "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" I feel like something has been taken from me. I want it back. Then "Here Comes The Sun" starts the B Side, and its such a contrast, and I feel at ease once again. A metaphor that comes to mind would be like dropping your keys near a sewer grate. And for the one second that they are falling you think, "Fuck, they are going to fall right through that grate. What am I going to do without my keys? I need my keys." and then they land safely right next to the grate and you can just pick them up again and keep on walking...
